Деновиве често ја имав истата мисла ’Светот е убав затоа што има супер креативни луѓе во него’, а особено зашто ја имам таа чест да се дружам и соработувам со некои од нив. Не е тајна дека веста за новиот проект на Ирина Тошева во кој соработува со млади модни блогери ја дочекав со гласно ’опааа’, а уште погласно затоа што ми ја соопшти Ерина, со која веќе утврдивме дека имаме фотохемија.

Уште кога ја видов Енхалон колекцијата на FWSK, првото што го помислив е дека целата таа езерска магија мора да биде споена со урбаниот дух, и со Ерина брзо се разбравме дека сакаме многу бетон, геометрија и Скопје (проследено со многу стикери со наочари и кулоќа на чет). Убедувањето со Ирина дека мора да изберам манекенско парче од колекцијата одеше потешко, ама вредеше во моментот кога сфатив дека ги облекувам апсолутно најдобро скроените palazzo панталони во мојот живот.

Last winter, I wrote here that in a brief moment I decided that the huge coat/skinny legs look is the one I want to be wearing the entire winter, and after finding the perfect coat, so I did. It is absolutely my go-to outerwear combination, both for the structure and the bright accent of mustard yellow that shines through the sea of winter black outfits.

'Do you have a big textured scarf we can use?' asks Erina, and boy do I have! Nature was kind and gave us the perfect frozen lake scenery to match the wintery outfit. There is a plan to make a Four Seasons collaboration, but it's a secret and you didn't hear it from me.

Time for some trivia: #DidYouKnow that the original idea for the name of my blog came from two completely separate things, first is the fact that at the time of the creation of the blog I was taking anatomy classes, and the second my inability to wear only one layer of clothes at a time (it came to be a mixture of how cold I always am and that I find layering utterly fun). So the plan was to make posts where I would dissect my layered outfits to show each piece and how it creates the whole look. The subject was briefly approached in this post, which I had loads of fun doing, so I decided to give it another try.

Ingredients:
1x plain blouse
1x denim shirt
1x wool cardigan
various decorations
Instructions:
add the layers one at a time
decorate as desired 

The imminent question always is: do accessories count as a layer? Since for me they are the unavoidable sprinkle on the cake, I would say yes, but oddly enough, it's the part I think about the least. Jewelry somehow always finds itself on me without my active participation. 

And voila! The recipe on how to stay stylish and warm is complete.

May it be a happy one and may we make it a good one. 

Well. In all honesty, making a post with the subject being solely the celebration of New Year's Eve must be at the bottom of the list of things I thought I'd be doing. To say that I despise it is an understatement, but not the celebration itself as much as the social pressure of doing something, and most of all, the apocalyptic behavior and zombie-like shopping.
Specifically speaking of holiday shopping, it is inevitable to notice the never changing trend of every brand possible to produce that most irritating New Year's collection which never ever fails to be black and sparkle (помешај ове ночи црну и златну по нашки). Basically, the fashion industry is telling you that your creative freedom is down to choosing the amount of sparkle on your black, and after some very profound musing over this (sarcasm), I offered myself these options:

  

dress: Zara, jewelry: everywhere

Option 1: Go with all black, and throw all your jewelry on it. It's mainly what I do on a regular day, but since NY has to be 'the craziest night', show people just how crazy you can be.

top: Suite Blanco

Option 2: Do what everybody else does. Pick a piece that already has all the sparkles in the world sown on, and don't worry 'bout a thing.

 Sometimes I really fell sorry for my blog, as if it were a living creature. I even have the need to apologize to it. Dear blog, I am sorry for neglecting you for so long, but moving out/traveling/having abnormal routine/life happened. Also, I absolutely hate bad lit, low quality photos on horrible backgrounds and I am absolutely aware that these are exactly like that, but I had the need to start from somewhere. 

So the start happened with the realization that the primary goal I had when I created the blog was not to impress anybody with my style, but rather to follow and encourage it's evolution. And for me, the definition of a personal style is not what you wear to special occasions, but rather what you reach for in the morning before your first coffee. Following that thought, I took selfies of my outfits that I wore to class for every day of the week.  

If I could make a little summary, I would point out the fact that has been well known to me for years - I very, very rarely sacrifice comfort for fashion, and the progression of my style has always been in the direction to find ways to stay comfortable, yet not be in pajamas. And since I have some time left of being a student stuck in classes for most of the day, the only change I need is maybe a new pair of boots.

Recently, we had the wonderful opportunity to be featured in an article on the online fashion magazine - Push It Moda, which had the goal to promote some of the Macedonian fashion bloggers to a more international readership. We all had a fun time shooting the photos (even more finding a suitable location for them) and I'm very much looking forward to more collaborations with these wonderful people.

On the matter of the boyfriend jeans trend, not necessarily your boyfriends, summed up as an opinion I'd have to say it is among the best parts of being a blogger, or even slightly fashion conscious, for in no other situation would I approve wearing the wrong clothing size or badly fitted pants. But this trend embodies my absolute favorite - the freedom to combine masculine with feminine pieces, leading to exactly what my style is, the right mix of both.
