christmas . wish . list .

Christmas Wish List

I think it's time that I do something quite blogger-ish and popular - the Christmas Wish List. It's just that mine is more of a Things-I-Drool-Over-And-Will-Never-Have List, and the fact that I haven't done this since I was 6 and wrote a letter to Santa, wishing for a Barbie. And Christmas in my country is still 2 weeks away. But nevertheless..

i'm . no . audrey .

I wouldn't want to dwell too deep into the mysterious corners of my mind, so I'll keep it simple. My point here is that, yes, I can wear a dress. A very feminine one, too. Do I feel like an actual lady while wearing it? Sometimes, yes. Do I enjoy the fact that I'm deceiving everyone around me that they've met a girly girl, when in fact, I'm quite a clumsy tomboy? Secretly, yes. Do I think it suits me well? After a bit of self-persuading, another yes.
But I've never fully embraced the concept of picturesque beauty. I mean, what good is a dress that doesn't make me feel comfortable and confident, just for the sake of looking good in pictures? So I can freely say that this one does both, and I love it.

lazy . wednesday .

I won't hide it, I'm a very lazy person. And that personality trait of mine combined with gloomy winter weather results in having a day off from college, getting up at noon, drooling over awesome illustrations, playing Skyrim, eating spaghetti, listening to salsa versions of songs and now, finally, grabbing the books and studying some pathology. Splendid.

sunday . inspiration . THIGH . HIGH . SOCKS .

I hate winter. Even though I like layering, I hate it when I turn myself into a big, chunky pile of clothes just to prevent hypothermia. But thigh high socks are probably among the rare clothing items that enable my fashion-vise survival during the colder periods of the year. I mean, look at them! It's one of those things that can't be explained - either you love it or you don't.

So here's the thing. In the past week I've had a serious dispute with my friend over this type of socks. He says, even though he's no chauvinist, that they're an unnecessary piece and just another layer to take off. Contrary to his opinion, I find them extremely sexy! Even the woolen, non-sheer ones. Actually, especially those!

I would very much appreciate everyone's opinion on this matter. And whatever the conclusion may be, I will still love and wear them, I promise. To help you decide, here are some awesome pairs.

world . aids . day . ' 1 1 .

As a medical student, I had my small contribution to the AIDS day this year with the MMSA (Macedonian Medical Students Association), which consisted of handing out condoms and leaflets to other students to raise their awareness. It was a fun and educational project medical -wise, and a chance for me to snap some great photos :)

My friends are awesome, I know. Be awesome too and always use condoms!
